Prayer Chain

Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
Ephesians 6:18

What is a prayer chain? While all church members support the congregation with our prayers, a prayer chain is a group of volunteers who make a specific commitment to receive prayer concerns as they come in and to pray for the concerns on a daily basis.

How does a prayer chain work? When a prayer request is received, the Prayer Chain Coordinator immediately sends the request to the Prayer Chain members either by phone or email. Participants then pray daily for that request, which is kept in confidence.

Will the whole church still pray for my concern? When submitting a prayer request, you will be asked whether you would like the person or circumstance shared in our newsletter and in-person gatherings, or whether you would prefer to limit the request to the confidential Prayer Chain. You may ask the Prayer Chain Coordinator to remain anonymous in either instance.

How do I submit a prayer request? Please tell us about your prayer needs by filling out our prayer request form.  The form will be sent to our Prayer Chain Coordinator. You can also contact the church office or pastor with your concern. We also welcome submissions that provide updates to a situation or request.

I want to pray for those who are in need of prayer, how do I join the Prayer Chain? Thank you!  We would love for you join our chain.  Please email our Prayer Chain Coordinator, Sandy Lawson, at prayerchain@crawfordumc.org.
