On November 22 the Christian Education committee hosted a Wreath Making Activity outside at the church. All the materials were provided. Some folks made their wreaths at the church; others took home what they chose to use for their wreath.

Christian Education will be hosting a Wreath Making Activity outside at the church on Sunday, November 22, at 1:00 p.m. You can get all the materials from us at that time, make your wreath there, or pick up and take home what you choose to use for your wreath. Please help us plan by letting us know how many wreaths your family would like! Email Jessica at jessica@crawfordumc.org to rsvp for your wreaths!

After many conversations with the Town of Winchester Health Department, it has become clear that we sadly will have to cancel our 2020 Holiday Faire due to COVID‑19. We feel that the faire cannot be held both successfully and safely. Many thanks to the Crawford team who worked so hard to find a way to make this happen.

On Sunday, October 11 at 1:00 pm, we will gather near the old garden to build a new one and to decorate for Halloween. Two separate activities so double the fun, but you can do both so no need to choose.
- Please come with your friends and family.
- Bring any decorations you’d like to lend us that are spooky or not so spooky. When you arrive you’ll see what our terrifying plan is 🙂
- If you would like to help build the new larger garden, please bring gloves. We are going to be building with cinder blocks so you’ll want to protect your paws.
- Take home a pumpkin or two complements of the Christian Education Committee!
Please wear a mask and maintain 6-foot distance as best you can, even though we are outdoors. We want everyone to stay healthy.
We will be out there for at least 2 hours so if 1:00 doesn’t work for you, come on by later.
Look forward to seeing everyone at 1:00 pm this Sunday!

We are not filling Thanksgiving baskets this year…Covid!! Instead, Crawford will be collecting gift cards. Our goal is 100 gift cards of $10 each from Market Basket or Stop & Shop. These will be donated to the Council’s Food Pantry which will distribute them instead of baskets. Please consider helping to reach Crawford’s goal…bring them to the outdoor service on November 1…or put them in the church mailbox if you can’t get to the service…or contact the church office at office@crawfordumc.org with questions or other ideas.
