The kids, youth, and folks from the Christian Education Committee will be preparing Coffee Hour for the congregation on Sunday, January 12. Since Coffee Hour is frequently noted by our younger people as a favorite part of their church experience, they look forward to being on the giving end. Kids and youth: we will meet at our regular time (after choir at 9:50) to cook and set up.

Grace in Aging:  Most of us do not give much thought to aging, unless something physically, mentally or emotionally, focuses our attention.  But we are all aging. The book for the January adult class is The Grace in Aging by Kathleen Dowling Singh.  This study will help us navigate the inevitable with Grace and Awareness.  The book is a “tool kit” giving us ways to live into aging, so that we can become the Elders for our loved ones.  Everyone (even the aging youth) are welcome.

Christmas Eve at Crawford, Tuesday December 24…

Please join us for one or both of our Christmas Eve Services:

At 6:00pm our family Christmas Eve service will feature an unrehearsed pageant. All are welcome! What’s an unrehearsed pageant? When you show up you can choose whether or not to participate and choose who you’d like to portray in the Christmas story. We provide a costume in a bag which can go over your clothes. There are no lines; you’ll come up when called to be part of the tableau.  We hope you will join us!

At 10:30pm Occasional Brass & Strings will share a concert of Christmas music in the sanctuary.  The concert will be followed by our Candlelight Service at 11:00pm which will be full of music featuring our Chancel Choir and Occasional Brass & Strings.
