Adult Study

Adult Study

Our new adult study begins next week on February 21st. Kim Burke will lead us in a discussion of the book, Lent in Plain Sight: A Devotion Through Ten Objects, by Jill Duffield. The author hopes that this book “opens our eyes and ears to the certain providence and power of God, allowing us to lower our anxiety about the future, lessen our burdens about the past, and free us to follow Jesus in faith right here and now.” Details on our Adult Study page.

Special MLK Service

Special MLK Service

On Sunday, January 17, Crawford had a special online service to recognize the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday and the way that intersects with the tension-filled days that are filling the nation right now. At this time of year, it is common at school assemblies and public events to hear Dr. King’s “I have a dream” speech read aloud, often from memory. However, Dr. King’s Letter from a Birmingham Jail seems a more fitting tribute this year.  You can watch the service here.

Auction!

Auction!

In 2021 we will host our first-ever Crawford Online Auction! The funds raised will go directly to supporting the infrastructure that allows us to continue to be the heart and hands of Christ in our community and beyond. We plan to hold our auction in two parts: Online silent auction, April 7, 8, and 9 and Online “live” auction, April 10.  Mark your calendars now!
